To cut or not to cut??

I've been going back and forth whether to cut my hair or not. It seems like I let it grow out to a certain length and then get frustrated with it and chop it off and then the cycle continues all over again. Ya'll, you're not going to believe it but I haven't cut my hair in over like a year and a half.

I know, right?? I know my ends have got to be screaming at me!

I've always wanted to grow my hair out long enough for Locks of Love for cancer patients. But I heard they are charging. I know they have to make their money but something about that just doesn't seem right to me. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

So like I said, been debating whether to cut: (few years ago when my hair was short)

or not to cut: (fairly recently)

What's a girl to do??

Show Us Your Life - Favorite Vacation Spots

Well, since I seem to have a case of insomnia tonight, what do I do, hop on the blog of course, so I figured I'd go ahead and put this up. I'm so excited because after many weeks I am finally able to participate in Kelly's Show Us Your Life. I can't do weddings, can't don't kids rooms, and etc., but I can most certainly do my favorite vacations spots.

So here ya have it, welcome to my favorites:

If you know me well, you know I have a deep love for the mountains of North Carolina and love the State of Tennessee and all things Nashville. These pictures are from a trip a few years ago. There is nothing like the mountains, it's one of the things that make me feel like such a small person, serving such a big God.

North Carolina, where peace truly does flow like a river!

And what can I say about Nashville? It's going to be my home someday. LOVE this city and LOVE country music. So can't have a better combination! :)

See you again soon Nashville! And hopefully permanently :)

My other vacation spot is Long Island, NY. We have family that live there and visit often and it's such a pretty pretty area, and don't have as many pictures to share but these I think capture the beauty of it.

There's a beautiful harbor and it's such a picturesque little town! Kind of a Cape Cod feel. There's some much love and family there and such great memories from over the years. I've shared these before and these are pictures of our most recent trip this year.

The End.

And this seriously makes me want to go on a vacation, haha!!! Well, at the end of this month I will be going to Atlanta and then in September going to Las Vegas. So I'm sure to have some more favorite vacation spots, haha! :)

Go over to Kelly's and let us know what your favorite spots are!!

Thanksgiving came early!

Well, maybe not early for you, but for our office it did!

I really had no idea what to write about today!

Then it happened, the idea came to me like a light bulb!

The Turkey!

Can't believe I was holding out on ya'll!

Let me start from the beginning! One of the attorneys I work for is a huge hunter! And when I say huge, lets just say he's MIA from the office the entire hunting season, haha!

So one day a few weeks ago he walks into the office and here I behold...

Exhibit A:

Sad, so sad people! And yes, this turkey is proudly displayed in our conference room!

Something so disturbing about that!

Well, gooble gooble! Happy Thanksgiving, early that is! :)

Texas Flashback!

The last time I went to Texas was in 2005.

My dad lives there with his wife. It was such a great trip. It was hot as blazes that week I went there in July. I got more sun in one day laying out by my dad's pool then I do a whole summer in Florida. The Texas sun in fierce.

My dad recently tagged me in these photos on Facebook. It brought back some wonderful memories from that trip.

So let me introduce you to my Dad and here's an ode to Texas. Oh, how I hope I can visit you again soon!!

I can be a cowgirl in the making :)

This picture was taken at the Fort Worth Stock Yards!! Look at the awesome Texas tan!!

Love you Texas, can't wait to see you again!!!

Some Q & A fun!

One of the greatest things about the blog world is getting to know other people!

I was just curious, is there anything ya'll have ever wanted to know about me or anything you've ever wanted to ask me??

Well, now is your chance!

If you wish, come up with some good questions and I'll try to give some good answers and make myself sound as interesting as possible, ha!

I thought this would be a great post to do for the new followers (HI) and even those that have been following me for awhile! So ask away!

On your mark, get set, GO!! :)

Oh yes it's ladies night, oh what a night!

Every month the ladies from our office have a ladies night on a Friday night and just hang out and enjoy each others company outside the office. This past Friday I hosted it at my house. We had a great night of tacos and some Wii action!

And what kind of friend would I be not to share some pictures? :)

Have NO clue what is up with my hands in this picture, haha!

Haha... we tried to get a whole group shot. As you can see, unsuccessful. But Cristina and I made sure to get our heads in there, ha!

Excuse the bra strap, ha! :)

Being goofy :)

Too bad I didn't get a picture of the food, because them tacos were GOOD!! :)

And can I just say that I'm still sore from the Wii! I've come to the conclusion that I'm a 100 year old person stuck in a 25 year old body, haha!

I really do work with a wonderful group of ladies! I'm the youngin' in the office, and so they're all really protective and are like my office moms, LOL! I am truly blessed! :)
