A moment in time

Well, today's the day! The big inauguration day! Whether or not your party is the one that made it into office, you can't help but feel a sense of pride for the history that is going to be made today. I have made it my goal to spend my time in prayer lifting up Barack Obama. I pray that the Lord will direct his steps and that each move he makes will not be made without seeking God first. The office of President is definitely not one I'd like to hold, and know it takes special people to take on this task. I appreciate President Bush in keeping us safe since the events of 9/11 and all that his presidency stood for, whether you agree or disagree, and his presidency hasn't been without alot of backlash. And I know today has to be a bitter sweet day, and I pray for him and his family as well, wherever their path may lead them from hereon out. So will you please join me in praying for Barack Obama and his family.

On another note.... We finally joined the group along with a million others and got this...

Our Wii people, haha :)

We had a blast our first night on it! My favorite is tennis. I'm a pro at it, if I do say so myself, haha... Now if only I could play like that on the real tennis courts, haha!! :) And the second runner-up as my favorite is bowling, again.. now only if I could bowl like that for real :)

Oh, and...

and no...

Hi, thank you for such an encouraging and uplifting comment-- it made my day!

I've been alternating between praying and almost crying today. I'm assured that God will lead us in perfect accordance to His plan though.

I love the Wii-- Ryan (my boyfriend) has it. We play the bowling/tennis/boxing/golf game, Mario Party, Lego Starwars, and we loved the Crash Bandicoot game!

Love the songs on your page as well :)

Lauren, Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for all your shout outs about Kelly and our baby Harper. We certainly do appreciate all your prayers and just for being so very sweet!

I came to Kelly's house tonight to pick up mail and I think I saw a card from you in their mail. I will be back with them tomorrow and will deliver it to them! Kelly is a little overwhelmed with everything at the moment but I know she thanks all of you with all her heart!

Blessings to you! Kelly's Mom, Judy

I had to comment again because I am cracking up at the Golden Girl pics! I absolutely love the Golden Girls and dream of retiring in Miami with a house full of wicker furniture. So fun!
