The day I cried over weeds!!

Sunday and Monday night my Mom spent the night with me. Her husband was out of town on business and so it was like a slumber party of sorts, ha! I guess during her stay she noticed I was running low on a few things, and being the wonderful and thoughtful person she is, she had to swing by my house again on her way home from work yesterday and this is what I found when I came home…

Toilet paper and some air freshener refills with a note that says “Love you bunches, Mom”.

It truly is the little things.

But it gets better. I didn’t notice last night because I came home when it was dark, but when I went out this morning to go walk my dog, much to my surprise, I found this…

NO WEEDS! My Mom pulled my weeds for me, and I cried.

Yes, I have become that girl that cries over weeds, ha!!

The gesture was so sweet and was such a blessing because I despise pulling weeds. So I called my mom up and through tears asked “did you pull my weeds?”

I love my Mom!

I say all this to encourage you, go pull someone’s weeds, it will mean the world to them, ha!! Or any random act of kindness for that matter!

And this is growing on my porch.

I forget what it’s called but it’s so pretty and unique!!

lol I've been known for crying over tiny stuff too. I've actually been a big cry baby lately!

I love this!! What a special mom your momma is...she knew the things that would help you the most and make you feel so loved and cared for. And I hope I look for ways to love my family like that today. Blessings!

Isnt it crazy - we dont notice the small things our moms do for us when we're little, but how precious they are when we're older & take note of them...

I LOVE my mom and I know how MUCH you LOVE your mom!!!!!!!!!!! They are such BLESSINGS and this was a wonderful post.

It also reminded me of what my mom did yesterday. She called me after she was done with work and asked if she could take me to B&G. It's our FABULOUS little ice cream 'shack' that has the most INCREDIBLE strawberry soft serve. Anyway, it was a total surprise and we had so much fun just spending time together.

Moms are TRULY the BEST!!!!
