Thursday Smursday! :o)

Hey Everyone!

Happy Thursday! I really just needed a bloggy break yesterday. Don't you just ever need that every now and then???

Yesterday was pretty uneventful and pretty slow at work (thank God I have a job though), and then after work my mom and I went to a nearby town to pick up my bridesmaid dress for my BFF Monica's wedding!!! I'm so stoked. It fit really well, just going to have to have it hemmed and have the straps altered around the neck. I'm getting more and more excited about sharing in her special day with her. Then we ate at the best burger joint, seriously, ever. Never tasted such a juicy and wonderful hamburger, and loved every bit of it. Then we went to Marshalls and looked around for a little while. It was VERY nice spending one on one time with my mom.

I was sooooo sad to hear yesterday about the passing of actress Natasha Richardson in a freak skiing accident...

She exuberated such grace and I'll never be able to watch "Parent Trap" again without crying!! She was one of my favorite actresses. My heart goes out to her precious family left behind!! Just yet another reminder that life is tooo precious, and we're not guaranteed anything. So, count your blessings today!

And lastly, I'm soooo excited because this spring break I'll be North Carolina bound. I just booked my flight to go visit my friend Jill. We met years ago at (brace yourself) "Camp Wimauma". LOL! Yes, we often asked ourselves, Why Momma did you send me here?? LOL!!! That was the running joke with the camp name among us campers!!! It was a wonderful church camp down south in Florida, and we've been friends ever since and the start of a beautiful friendship. She has been in North Carolina for quite sometime, so thought it was long overdue to pay her a visit.

Please be praying for me, as I'm dealing with some emotions and stuff within, that I'm trying to process and worth though. Thank you, and in return will be praying for you :o)

Came across this yesterday. Just wanted to share. Something to ponder:
Without GOD, our week would be:
Sinday, Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday,
Thirstday, Fightday & Shatterday.

I always get really sad when I hear about celebrities passing away because I feel like I know them. Probably because I watch E News and read US Weekly like it's going out of style!

That is such sad news about Natasha Richardson. You're right, life is precious and we never know the time we have left.

I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with some things. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the Tweet this morning... it does feel a bit like I've been punched in the jaw, though, now that the numbness is wearing off! Ick.

I was so sad to hear about Natasha Richardson, too...I can't imagine what her family is going through.

I would LOVE to move to NC if I could - it is so gorgeous. I hope you have an awesome visit. And...I'm praying for you today. Emotional stuff can be so yucky to deal with, but thank God that He is there to lift us up!
