Alabaster Box!

You might remember awhile back I started a book called “Lady in Waiting”. Sadly, I’ve only gotten through the first chapter. I know, pathetic, huh? Well, starting this week I’m going to get into it more and try to focus on a chapter each week and have you walk through it with me and share with you what I’m learning. The first chapter focused on Mary and the Alabaster Box. And if you haven’t heard it before take the time to listen to Cece Winans song “Alabaster Box”. I’m excited to share this book with you as I get into it more. How I long to be more like Mary! I have a book called having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, that about sums it up for me! So, what are you needing to break out of your Alabaster Box? Anything that you're needing to lay at the feet of Jesus? I encourage you to meditate on that today!

Well, yesterday I got myself booked for the Women of Faith Conference in Atlanta. I sooooooo cannot wait. It's not until August but I'm already stoked. How could you not be with this line-up??

I think I'm most excited about seeing Steven Curtis Chapman and Mandisa, and of course, Anita Renfroe. She is absolutely hysterical. August, can you hurry up and get here??? ha! The scary part is it will be here before I know it. I love going to these types of things, it makes for a wonderful and fulfilling quick getaway :o)

Okay, so on to the Bachelor last night. Can you believe that mess??? I for one, along with the rest of America, was shocked at the events that took place on ABC last night. All I can say is I would never, ever want my relationship to be displayed for all of America to see, and last night was exactly the reason why. And that’s all I have to say on that, haha!!! What are your thoughts??

OHHHH girlie... I am the BIGGEST SCC fan you will EVER meet... We've already got our tickets for Indianapolis... CANT WAIT!!!! I look so forward to Woman of Faith each year!!!

And man, the Bachelor... that was a mess, wasn't it! I just want to find Melissa & tell her its not her fault... she is what broke my heart... how did she stay so calm! I would have been all freaky on Jason if that were me...

& cant wait to see how you like this book... I'm going to ponder on that - what's in my box? Excellent devotional thought for the day!

I'm a Martha, Martha, Martha that needs to learn from Mary.

And I'm glad Melissa's a Texan because they grow them tough in TX and she can bounce back. But I have no words for Jason. (Well, spineless wimp comes to mind, but you may not want those comments on your blog.)

Now, as for The Bachelor...well, you already know my feelings on that one since I twittered and posted about it like crazy. NOT a happy camper.

Have a wonderful day!
