Friday Blessings!

I feel for the past couple of weeks this blog has just been really heavy.

Understandably so. This is our reality, what we're facing right now.

I thought I would keep it light hearted today and end our week by counting our blessings.

"Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!"

So please, would love for your to share how God has blessed you this week. Counting our blessings helps give us some perspective. Lord knows we could ALL use a little perspective, right?

So, fire away..... I know you can name at least one thing. Big or small.

This song puts it perfectly. It's really ministered to me as our family is walking through this time.

Have a good weekend!

our family has been going through some very heavy things for the past 2 years. But just this week, God has turned my brother's life around. It's amazing to watch. As one of my dear friends recently said "don't put a cap on what God can do!"

Praying for you and your family!

One of my coworkers was in the hospital but has been released and is on the mend. My husband and I had fun evenings with friends a few nights this week. Also it's sunny and 60 here today.

Continuing to pray for you and your family. My family lost our Great Grandmother to a brain tumor similar to Larry's it was also a glioblastoma. She moved in with my Grandmother for the last few months of her life and it's definitely a time I would never take back. I hope you can continue to feel God's love during this time.

My blessings are always my healthy kids. I hear more and more stories of kids that are in the fight of their life to live. I feel blessed to have my children.

So sorry for your loss - sadly i know only to well how you must be feeling. I have lost many family and friends this last year - far to many including my mum and just last week my life long friend - ive not had a chance to adjust from one change before another one has hit me. Lets hope God gives us the strength to cope with the changes and move on. I know you said about your blog being heavy but its your reality, and allowing others to see your experiences in life may help them cope with theirs and know they are not alone, we all suffer but we do get through xx

Darlin' you just don't know how I need this post and sing today. My father had a stroke this past weekend and after tests, they found a tumor in his brain and lung. We are waiting for the results but in the meantime we continue to hold on to our faith and now thanks to your post, remembering to count our blessings.

I recently met an older gentleman that grew up in my hometown and we've become good friends and have realized that we may even be related (growing up in a small town that tends to happen) and I've met his wife and grandchildren as well.

Earlier this week he thought he had cancer and was told today that he does not. I am blessed to know him and blessed, as is he for this news.

I am so sorry to hear about your tough times. It is such a great thing to be able to count our blessings as that truly allows us to see all the good God has given us. I've been blessed tremendously by being a mother. the GREATEST blessing there is!
