Breadsticks or Garlic Cheese Biscuits?

Sorry in advance if this post makes your mouth water, ha!

As most of ya’ll know, and if you don’t know I am running my first 5K race in March. With my limited time I’ve been doing what training I can do on the weekends and throughout the week when I am able.

Yesterday I did some running on the treadmill and I ran 3 MILES STRAIGHT!!!!!! The most I have EVER ran!! I was so pumped and felt so great afterwards.

My goal is to be able to run the whole 5K, and know there’s no shame if I have to walk some but aiming to be able to run the whole thing! If I keep this up I just might be able to.

I’ve had some great encouragers along the way, so that’s really helped me as well. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE my running shoes. I think they were the best investment I’ve ever made.

Plus, I went out to eat last night with my good friend Monica and we went to The Olive Garden… and seriously they need to put a warning label on those breadsticks…… they are SINFUL!!! And add the alfredo sauce and you’re done, just done I tell you. So the exercise probably did me some good, ha!

This is a pretty meaningless question but I wanted to take a survey.

Before we went to dinner I asked Monica, so are you in the mood for Olive Garden or Red Lobster? And you know how I find that answer out real quick? I decide if I’m in the mood for breadsticks from Olive Garden or the Garlic Cheese Biscuits from Red Lobster, ha…

And last night, the breadsticks won!

So here’s the big question of the day, if you had to choose, which would it be?

Breadsticks

or the biscuits??

I know, tough decision, huh? Ha!

Yay on you running 3 miles!! LOL your post mentions garlic cheese biscuits! The other night my hubby and I ordered at Red Lobster (main reason for the cheese biscuits) he asked before he took it home if they were included, um they said oh yes we put extra, he tipped them like $10.00, got home, guess what no biscuits :0( ! I was sooo sad.... Oh well maybe next time.... Ha! Ha!

So I guess that's my answer.... I am a garlic cheese biscuit girl LOL....

That's hard!! I really like them both! But if I had to pick, I would say... Garlic Cheese Biscuits!!

Again, congrats on the 3 miles! I am so proud of you! I totally knew you could do it:) Can't wait till your race day! I'm running a half marathon that same day, so we can be running buddies from afar!

Garlic cheese biscuits, hands down! They are delish! But if I'm hankering for a salad, it's Olive Garden any old day. And now I'm hungry and want to go bout to eat.

Congrats on running 3 miles!! That's awesome! As for the biscuits/breadsticks dilemma...that's a hard one! I loooove the cheese biscuits though, I think I'd pick those! (My boyfriend thinks they're gross...I think he is CRAZY.)

Congrats on the 3 mile mark! Sounds to me like you are on the right track to that 5K :D As for your survey, I'm a Garlic Cheese Buscuit lady. Of course I'd choose seafood over Italian anyday but I'm a sucker for those buscuits!

That is a tough choice, and YES you did make my mouth water!! I love them both... hmmm, well, hubs has gotten pretty good at "ripping off" the recipe for the RL biscuits. So, I guess I'd have to go with the OG breadsticks, as long as they are nice and fresh (and not stale and hard, like I've had at times).

By the way, I definitely think you're going to accomplish your 5K goal... if you're already running 3 miles on a treadmill, you'll easily be able to run 3.1 miles on race day-- I think it's soooo much easier running outdoors than in. Good luck!

Olive Garden. Hands down! Plus, the biscuits are so easy to make at home, so I usually opt out of Red Lobster.
Congrats on the 3 miles. That's amazing!

great question! :)

I'd choose the biscuits, but oddly, we end up with the breadsticks more often.

great job running!

Great job on the running! I'm sure missing running right now!

As for the food - both are great, but I think I usually lean towards Olive Garden breadsticks. They are delicious! :)

Well I love both! But hubby isn't a big Red Lobster fan, so 99% of the time it's breadsticks that win around here!
