The Rockefeller Center Tree has nothing on mine!

You know you're getting old when...

You can't even stay up between 8-9pm to watch the TV special "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" to see the lighting of the christmas tree.

I was so excited for it because I've missed it the past couple of years. So I’m on the couch all comfy…and I last a whole whopping 15 minutes before I’m snoozed out on the couch. I watched it long enough to see Aretha Franklin, Shakira, and Alicia Keys. They were wonderful but I wanted to see the lighting of that tree. So I woke up to find that it was 10pm and I had missed the whole thing.

BUT… with that said, I lit up a tree of my very own. It would put NYC’s tree to shame. It just has nothing on my tree.

See…

Nothing!!

HAHA!

Ya'll, this is my Charlie Brown tree. I have a tree but when my mom got remarried and moved she took alot of her ornaments with her. So my goal between now and next year is to stock up on ornaments and collect decorations of my own :) So for now, it's Charlie Brown and me!

Plus, this weekend I'm going to go and help my mom and her hubby decorate their tree!

Seriously, I love everything about this time of year! Every morning, the first thing I do is turn on the radio to the Christmas music because there's a local station that plays it 24/7 and listen to it while I'm getting ready. I LOVE LOVE LOVE christmas music!

I'm done with my Christmas cards. They have been signed, sealed, and delievered!

I have vowed to sit down and watch "It's a Wonderful Life". I have NEVER watched it in it's entirety. Can you believe that?

And this year we drew names in the family and so it will definitely take the stress off of the gift buying!!!!

What is there not to love about this time of year??? :)

What a cute tree! It's always fun to collect ornaments of your very own over the years too.

You'll have to hit the "day after Christmas" sales (sometimes even Christmas Eve there are sales on decorations) for more ornaments.

I watch "While You Were Sleeping" EVERY Christmas. LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie!! Sandra Bullock is awesome in it, of course.
