"Park my butt on the couch night."

I work full time and go to school three nights a week.

Wednesday nights are my ONLY free night out of the week. I have come to LOVE my Wednesday nights!

I will never take Wednesday for granted ever again!

Wednesday keeps me sane.

You are the bomb, Wednesday!

Typically one might think that I’d take Wednesday night to get caught up. Do some house cleaning, or maybe laundry perhaps?

Oh, but not I.

I have officially deemed Wednesday night “Park my butt on the couch night.” In fact, you could probably find my cheeks implanted into the couch cushion as I finally decided to make my way into the bed.

But really, I blame this whole Wednesday night tradition on the good TV line-up that’s going on, on Wednesday nights.

My motto is always better to blame someone or something else.

For the better part of the night I finished up watching my last DVD from Netflix to catch up on the first season of the show Parenthood.

And then by that time it was time for my Wednesday night TV:

Better With You
Modern Family (Hilarious Halloween episode last night)
Law & Order: SVU (Repeat last night. BOO)

Oh, but it doesn’t stop there. Then I made my way to the bed but only to catch up on Glee and watched it from my computer. Apparently my TV craving was not satisfied for the evening. I wasn’t all that thrilled with the Rocky Horror episode. I loved the costumes but the music I wasn’t all that impressed by.

After that I really thought I should catch up with Dancing with the Stars, but I had to draw the line somewhere, or else today I would find myself a TV zombie. And I’m sure the dear Lord created nights so we can actually sleep, don’t you think?

So the moral of the story….

A. It’s sad how much TV makes me happy.

B. As a whole, the productivity level for the evening was a big fat ZERO!!!

Oh, and I vaguely remember eating dinner somewhere in there! And of course, may or may not have been watching TV while partaking!

So when is your “Park your butt on the couch” night? And don’t be afraid to say it’s every night, ha! We are a non-judgmental group here!

HAha, love it! I love Modern Family so darn much. I get so excited for Wednesdays because it comes on. Glad you get to relax some and enjoy the shows.

For me, it's probably Friday night. That way I can stay up as long as I want and catch up on my shows without having to worry about getting up early the next morning! By the way, I give you a lot of credit for working full time with three night classes a week. It sure isn't easy, but you'll be so proud of yourself and feel very accomplished once it's all done! :)

I love my tv nights. When I'm not at work late, or at the theatre, or at a Board meeting, I'm pretty my butt will be in my papasan chair in the craft room going through ALL the shows on my DVR. It rejuvenates me and makes me feel like a normal human being.

I'm sad when I don't have at least TWO of those nights per week. Those shows don't get watched on their own!

I am now sad that I don't have a "park my butt on the couch" night! I never have time! But I would have to say that Wed night is my fave tv night, all because of Modern Family! That show makes my life complete!

No night is park my butt on the couch night anymore. BUT, I always do whatever I can to watch Glee on Tuesday and Grey's on Thursday. And DVR it just in case :)

I LOVE TV nights! I have heard Modern Family is hilarious, so I may need to start watching it. Last year, I had a show every night of the week, but I'm struggling this year. I watch Desperate Housewives, Survivor, and that's about it! I need some more TV in my life!

I have parked my butt tonight! Hubby and I are watching a DVD from the library. It seems like I do alot of baking Friday mornings before work, so Thursday night, I am watching TV and getting things prepared. This week, I was peeling apples for an apple crisp for work tomorrow. Yum! :-)
