Let me brag for a minute!

Let me tell you a little something about my Mom!

She is the most selfless person you will ever meet...

Today there is a Boss’s Day breakfast at our office. For the longest time I’ve brought French Toast Casserole. It’s a yummy recipe of my Mom’s.

It’s a huge hit!

Well, I spent the night at my Mom’s house on Friday night. I came back home Saturday totally forgetting to get the recipe from her and the dish that I needed from her that comes with a holder to keep the dish warm.

I panicked when I realized it and not only that, but hadn’t even gotten the ingredients. Time slipped away from me.

You know what my Mom did? She went out, without me asking, bought the ingredients and made the dish for me last night and stuck it in the oven this morning, and I met her this morning at my office and she dropped it off to me.

And wrote out the recipe for me.

I love it because I will keep this recipe with me, and maybe one day, I’ll be making my own family my Momma’s French Toast Casserole and I’ll look back and remember that selfless act of kindness that made me remember why my Mom is so great (among many other reasons).

And I wouldn’t trade her for anything in the world.

I’ll be back with a weekend recap, but just needed to brag on my Mom!
