Living the college life (at least for the weekend)

This weekend is family weekend at my sister's college....so we'll be heading up to spend the weekend with her. My mom and her hubby got a hotel room and I'll be staying with my sister in her dorm. People, this is as close as I'm going to get to the college life, so my sister plans on having me live it up and is determined Saturday night she said to show me how to party like a college student. I may never come back to the blog word the same, ha!

I'm looking forward to this. A deep part of me wishes I had gone away to a university and had that feeling of going away and experiencing all that. But God chose a different path for me, and now I can live vicariously through my sister.

My sister recently jointed a sorority and so she's gained about a gazillion sisters and I keep gently reminding her by saying I know you have a bunch of new sisters now but don't forget about your real one, LOL. She assures me that she won't. So I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with her and spending some time as a family.

She's having a ball right now...but a big part of me misses her. So I think this weekend will be fun and I'm sure I'll come back with some stories and hopefully lots of pictures.

Have any of you seen the movie Sorority Wars on lifetime??

Make sure you pause the music on my blog so you can watch this and excuse some of the language.

It so made me think of my sister and made a part of me wish I had that kind of sisterhood. Do any of you have sorority stories of your own? Would love to hear!

Have a wonderful weekend, what do ya'll have planned?

Haven't seen the movie. And as far as plans for the weekend, I get to meet a bloggy friend in person for the first time! :) Other than that, it'll be pretty relaxing. Have a great weekend!
