It's such an escape for me. Almost theraputic. I love good writing that truly makes me feel like I've stepped into another world, a world that's not my own. For a few brief pages I can step out of reality and be someone else.
Not that my reality is bad, ha! But hello, who doesn't love a brief escape?
I love books that make you laugh. I love books that even make me cry and move me. That's the epitome of a great writer. But most of all, I love books that make me think and make me want to better myself.
Lately, I've really expanded and broadened my reading due to some fabulous book suggestions I've gotten. I've come a long way since my "Baby-sitters Club" and "Sweet Valley High" days, haha!!
I've put myself on a book buying and library band though, until I read what I've already got. I'm currently reading a book and have four books sitting on my dresser waiting to be read.
With the TV shows going to be winding down soon, hopefully I'll be able to pick these books up and read. I'm not a huge summer TV person, so that should give me the time. And with the April showers, who doesn't love to curl up on the couch with a good book?? :)

You're going to LOVE "Crazy love" - so powerful! I wanted to read "Eat Pray Love" but think I'll just watch the movie on that one!

I LOVED Sweet Valley. I read a lot of Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club) ... twisted, crazy writer :)
I seriously want to read the new PW book, but I don't read at all. It never fails that every time I buy a book, I get a chapter or 2 into it, then never finish. I'm just not a reader.
Maybe I'll be able to tackle it in the summer, though, when there's nothing filling my DVR. :)
Wow to be honest I couldn't tell you the last time I read a book... maybe about hunting or reading to my son, but that's it. Ha. I heard about "crazy love" and how It's such an amazing book, wouldn't mind checking into it.

Crazy love is on my list. I really really really didn't like Eat Pray Love, but I know others really loved it!
I've always loved to read! I read Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and the Babysitter's Club! :) All of them!!
I just read PW's book and it was good!! You need to read the Lightkeeper's Daughter. It is GOOD!
I love getting other reading suggestions! My nook lets me read so much more than I used to and I'm loving it. I just tried to friend you on Good Reads but couldn't figure out how to let me do that for you, don't know why.
