I realized today I hadn't blogged this whole year.... You know, all two days of it, and thought I better get on it!!
So, Christmas night my family packed up and hit the road to North Carolina! We drove to Savannah, GA, and finished the rest of the drive to North Carolina the next day.
On any vacation everyone knows half the fun is getting there. As we were driving through South Carolina and all the way into North Carolina, it was a sight to behold. I have never in my life seen anything more beautiful. I have never seen snow fall before.

And the snow quickly turned into this.
We stopped to eat at Cracker Barrel. Florida girl, meet snow. Snow meet Florida girl!
And we finally got to the cabin.
Woke up the next morning to this. This was out the front door!
Of course had to play :)
It truly was a perfect ride up and this Florida girl was in snow heaven!

How cool! I have only ever seen snow fall once and that was 6 months ago and it didn't stick it all.. it was barely a flurry really. I so wanna go somewhere where its totally snowing and sticking and all that.

And I do agree that half the fun is getting there! As long as I get to sit in the front seat. Because it's no longer fun if I'm getting car sick. Ha!

Aww I love the snow!!! I came home for Christmas break to DC and there is no snow. Of course as I soon as I leave Boston, they get a ton!
