What Mother's Day means to me!

Mother's Day reminds me...

that one day I will have the blessing of being called mom.

that he has instilled in me the heart to be a mother.

that my life has been filled in abundance with mother figures and I LOVE that.

that there is no higher calling than being a mother.

to pray for those who have lost children or yearning to have children.

ultimately to never forget what Mary, the mother of Jesus, had to endure to see her only son given up, sacrificed, for the sake of our sins and as a mother, what that day must have been like for her.

BUT today also reminds me what an amazing mother I have.

This is my Mom and I last Mother's Day! Looking forward to capturing more memories this year!

Seriously, though, I should be celebrating her 365 days out of the year but I think it's so awesome that there's that one day that we set aside to honor those women that mean the most to us and that God has hand picked to be our mother.

Today us kids are spending the day with my Mom out on the waters and louging on the boat. The weather is going to be perfect today and can't think of a better way to spend the day.

I hope you enjoy Mother's Day, all of you Mother's out there, and if you're not a mother, enjoy the day spending it with the one's you call Mother. If your Mother is no longer here... Think sweet thoughts and hang on to those memories and may it fill you with peace and joy today!!!

Happy Mother's Day!
