Late night text!

I received a text last night a little after midnight, but was already asleep. It was from my Mom. I had forgotten to turn my alarm off on my phone for my walking time during the week of 5:30am. So when I went to go turn it off, it's then I realized I had some texts.

My Mom is finishing up reading the Redemption Series by the christian fiction author Karen Kingsbury. I got her hooked on her books after I said she must start reading them because I knew she'd love them. The whole Redemption Series is based around the Baxter family.

So this is the text she sent me:

"Just finished Reunion (the last book in the series) and found myself sobbing! I just wanted you to know how much I love you! We are the Baxter's my dear and redemption is our family's story too (just know our family has been through a whole lot and have experienced some redemption of our own)...We still have many chapters to experience...and many include you and the husband that has been choosen for you. Keep a prayerful heart and ask for his will to be done. I learned that from Elizabeth Baxter (the Mom in the book). Good night precious."

That's me speaking in the parenthesis.

So here I am crying at 5:30 in the morning. What can I say, we're a family of criers, ha!!

This woman speaks such life into me!!! Therefore, just proves my point that I have the best mother in the world.

Happy Saturday!!

I loved Karen's books. I finally had to stop reading them because I would stay up all night. They are so good!
